- In-app notifications appear in your notification bell inside the platform
- Email alerts are sent for time-sensitive or important events
- You can toggle email notifications on or off from your profile settings

Email notifications are styled by urgency so you can quickly identify what needs immediate attention:
- Urgent — Training overdue, certification expired, quantity threshold exceeded, AI generation failed
- Warning — Training reminder, certification expiring, SDS expiring, plan rejected
- Normal — Plan approved, plan published, import complete, AI generation complete
